A reviewer from National Public Radio says of Detor, "With a sweet vocal sensibility and a gift for a good tune, singer-songwriter  Krista Detor instills in her work the distinct cultural flavor of her varied travels.  Her songs have been compared to those of Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen and Laura Nyro."
