I love Valentine's Day! As a little girl, I would spend hours making my Valentine box for school. I was careful not to send any boy a card that would give him the wrong idea - that I might like him or something like that. We wore X's on the bottom of our shoes to ward off "Boy germs!" Oh my, how those days changed as the teen years set it! Now I help my sons make boxes and sign cards, well I did - now I help plan weddings! Our fourth son Brett will be getting married this coming June and our first grand-baby will be arriving in September - it just doesn't get any better than that!
I thought you might like a little history lesson on Valentine's Day.
Valentine's Day Trivia
Every February, across the country, candy, flowers, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of St. Valentine. But who is this mysterious saint and why do we celebrate this holiday? The history of Valentine's Day -- and its patron saint -- is shrouded in mystery. But we do know that February has long been a month of romance. St. Valentine's Day, as we know it today, contains vestiges of both Christian and ancient Roman tradition. So, who was Saint Valentine and how did he become associated with this ancient rite? Today, the Catholic Church recognizes at least three different saints named Valentine or Valentinus, all of whom were martyred. One legend contends that Valentine was....

But, when I stop concentrating on the problem and look to You and Your promises, I am relieved. For I know that all things are possible through You. You are in control and will make all things work to the good for those who love You. Thank You for those promises and for the "breath of fresh air" I feel in knowing You are here with me, for me, and in me through Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, amen.

Basic Personality Principles Teleseminar
March 11 - April 29, 2008
For the first time ever, you do not need to book an airplane ticket, get a hotel room or rent a car to attend this seminar! Over the past few years I have had people from all over the world ask if we could PLEASE bring the Personality Training Seminar to their country. We understand the cost of traveling Internationally and for many, getting to a seminar as this, can add up to well over $2,500. With these in mind, and because we feel so strongly about training people to use this life changing information, we have decided to use modern technology to bring Basic Personality Principles to you via the phone lines.

The first Basic Personality Principles Teleseminar will be held on Tuesdays, starting March 11 and continuing for 8 weeks, ending on April 29, 2008. Each session will be about an hour and a half to two hours in length, depending on the amount of Q&A time at the end of each session. The sessions will be recorded for future download, so if you can't make it to all the calls, you will not miss any of the sessions.
Cost: $350.00 USD
Equipment needed: a telephone
(For many, Skype is the best way to keep the cost of long distance charges down, especially those living outside the USA.)

Advanced Personality Training
The 2006 and 2007 APT were smashing successes, so we decided to do it again!
If you have been looking for support and encouragement in teaching The Personalities, either as a business or ministry -
this is the conference for you!
The focus of this conference is helping you understand what technology is out there and how that will help you get your business or ministry moving forward -- from learning small group activities that sizzle, to writing newsletters, developing websites, even understanding the importance of bookkeeping and the reasons for becoming an LLC, there's something for everyone!
Each year there are new teachers and topics, along with the basics. For many CPTs, this is a reunion they look forward to all year.
The location has not be determined yet, but most likely will be in St. Louis again. The details will be posted the moment they are cemented in place.

I want to thank everyone who join me in the research effort of the new Personality Principles Youth Profile. We now have 4 countries helping with the research! I am thrilled to pieces with the response! If you missed the offer last month...
I still need kids!
Ages 9 - 14, third - eighth grade.
If you have access to children between third and eighth grade (they don't have to be your own children) who would be willing to field test this new profile, please email me with your mailing address and I will send you up to five profiles to use with your children.
I will need a copy of the results mailed back to me, along with a short questionnaire that I need you to fill out.
I hope to have these new profiles available for download from the website shortly, but first, I want to make sure they work correctly and are of benefit to the Personality Trainers who will be using them. I feel we can make a great impact in our schools with this inexpensive and easy system. A new shorter adult profile and a darling preschool profile are in the works too, so keep your eyes open for them, we will need these field tested also.

Personality Boards
Over the years I have found using my Personality Board to be one of the best visuals I have - even though I use Power Point, and props. People come up to me after each presentation to ask questions and they start using the board to make their point - I love it!
Because I fly, I have had to create a board that fits in my garment bag. Now I'm offering them for sale. Many CPTs have purchased them from me and love them.
