works with parents and teachers to understand current brain
research and their roles as neurosculptors for children. Known for
her frank, captivating manner, she is acclaimed as a speaker by parent groups,
educators and students in North America and abroad.

Branksome Hall's annual
speaker series, named in 1998 in honour of the sixth principal, Dr.
Phillips Belash, features prominent speakers whose stories and lives
a great impact on our community. To name just a few, past speakers have
included journalist and social activist June Callwood, renowned educator
Gilligan, and the past president of Latvia, Vaira Vike-Freiberga.
