Greetings!

Spring is here and full of new opportunities! If you haven't been in the studio lately, you might be surprised at some of the changes we've made. We have some great new props and backgrounds and the new pricing guides contain some really fun products. We're busy updating the website, RebeccaPetermanPhotography.com, but one of the best ways to stay in touch and keep up with all the new developments is the Facebook Fan Page. You can read all about our current Facebook Contest on the right. Be watching for all sorts of fun new promotions coming your way!

Snapshot Moment

Summer's almost here and with vacations, more free time and playing outside, it's a great time to get some good snapshots. It's also a time that your camera can be easily damaged so here are a few things you should consider.

1) Never leave your camera in direct sunlight or in a hot car or trunk. If it's absolutely necessary, at least pack it into a sealed camera bag to help stabilize the temperature.

2) Never point your lense directly at the sun, it can damage the inside of the camera.

3) Make sure your camera stays dry when taking pictures at the pool and lake.

4) If your camera has interchangeable lenses, try to change them inside, away from dust and moisture that could get inside the camera or lense.

Have fun and record all those summer memories!

We're so excited about our new Rebecca Peterman Photography Fan Page we want everyone to know about it and we want your help telling them! Here's how the contest works. If you aren't a fan yet, click on the Facebook icon above. When you get to the Rebecca Peterman page click "like" and you will become a fan. Once you are a fan, click on the "Suggest to Friends" link in the upper left corner (below the picture of the hawk) and recommend the page to all your friends. Be sure to tell your friends to write that you recommended them on the Fan Page Wall. Friday, May 28th, we'll tally the wall posts and the person with the most referrals will win a free session and a free framed 16x20 print. That's a $400 value! $20 Session Fee and Discounted Packages

Would you like to have professional photography at huge savings over normal studio prices and support a good cause at the same time? May 21st - 23rd HSIS/Park PTO is doing a portrait fundraiser. Your $20 session fee goes directly to the PTO. They also receive a portion of package sales during the fundraiser weekend. You view and order your images immediately following your session (with discounted packages available) and pick up your finished portraits in about 2 weeks.
