The Passionate Educator
How do the best trainers remain energized? Robert Fried, author of The Passionate Teacher, suggests:
1. KEEP A POSITIVE MINDSET Maintain a mindset that drives you to search for greater knowledge as you build a repertoire of effective practices.
2. FOCUS ON THE STUDENTS Focus on your students to ensure that they are actively engaged in their learning.
3. SEEK OUT OTHER PASSIONATE EDUCATORS Surround yourself with those who love to teach.
How do you maintain your passion as a trainer? Guila will reward the most helpful ideas with a $25 Starbucks card, and publish the winner's ideas in our January newsletter.

"Twitter" Summary
Use this learner-centered activity to summarize important points from your session.
Ask teams of two to imagine that they will Tweet a colleague about key findings from the session. Remind them of Twitter's 140 character limit, give them 5 minutes, and then ask all to report their Tweets!
Thanks to David Gibson for this exercise.
