Alexander Katsnelson, DMD, MS

 

Hi, my name is Alexander Katsnelson and I really enjoy working as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Dental Salon. The reason that I love my job so much is because of the patients that I meet and my passion for helping them. I know that for many people, any type of surgery can be stressful. Therefore I strive to make you feel comfortable, educate you regarding your treatment options, and answer all of your questions.

 

I graduated from Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Israel. After moving to Chicago, I began my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at University of Illinois. I completed my Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at a Harvard University teaching hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, where I also served as chief resident.

 

I have extensively published in national journals and presented at numerous dental conferences. Training under the best surgeons in my specialty has enabled me to continue their tradition of providing patients with thorough treatment planning, innovative surgeries, and dedication for their well being. To provide my patients with the latest treatment options, I continue taking courses and attending conferences.

 

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. After many years of specialty training and being away from Chicago, my wife and I take any opportunity to explore such an interesting and beautiful city!
