LIBRA: Balance Requires Loving Self & Others

Hi All ~ As the Sun enters Libra (9/22), it activates the *Annual* Check-In with your Balance & Personal Relationships, are they healthy and reciprocal? This is also the Annual *Harvest* ~ what have you created this year? What will sustain you going forward? What needs to be cleared away? In general, Libra/Other yields the *harvest* of your Aries/Self-Work, on multiple levels and is particularly potent for the *Cardinal* Family ... LIBRA *Initiation* ~ ARIES *Integration* ~ CANCER/CAPRICORN *Test/Growth*. This is true every year for folks with this energy activated in their charts, because they fall at the Seasonal shift, but with the added influx of energies from Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024), Saturn in Libra (2009-2012), Uranus in Aries (2010-2018) and (coming soon) Jupiter in Cancer (2013-2014) ~ it makes the Social/Collective evolution VERY PERSONAL for *YOU* in particular.

Venus, when it rules Libra, reminds us that *ALL* LIFE is inextricably connected. Any imbalances affect all life (eventually). As living, conscious Beings, we strive for balance in all that we think, feel, say and do. You can access your inner-Libra and re-center, so you are more effective in your Being-ness and more useful to Life. *Fall* Equinox gives you the opportunity to reflect on what needs to be assessed and/or released to prepare you for the next *Sacred* Season.

~ Assess the value of your current relationships
~ Assess the value of your resources and how you've been using them

This *Sacred Season* is About:
~ Harvest ~
Assess what you've produced/accomplished in the last 6mo
~ Evaluate & Rectify ~
Assess what worked and what did not work
~ Balance & Integrate ~
Assess what you need to do/have/be more or less of going forward
~ Pause for the Cause ~
Transition times are times to be still, tune in and prepare for new season

More than ever, this year's *Harvest* is vitally important to your ongoing survival. What have you created with your words, thoughts & deeds this year? *Fall* Equinox ~ Harvest Time ~ Rhythm is a beautiful thing! Taking some time at the turn of each *Sacred* Season notifies the Universe that you are ready, willing and able to co-create with Mother Earth. *Fall* Equinox is the time of year to bring all your projects to a close, finish whatever you can and start looking toward new projects. *Balance & Integrate* what is working and release the rest. If you willingly (and lovingly) release that which is not working, the next Season will go a lot smoother when you go to truly close the year in preparation for a new Solar year. Harvest is about assessing and gathering all that you've created for the year, and ultimately, reaping the rewards of all your hard work and labor. Some of your *Harvest* will be tangible, creative projects that can/will bear fruit now that they are complete or in place ... and some of your *Harvest* will be intangible, in that, you have further cultivated your own Being over the last year and now you (and others) can benefit from your personal integration and strength. Align with your Higher Self and your personal goals for the coming season. *Fall Equinox* is a time of BALANCE. It is time of balance between *Light & Shadow* and takes us from movement out in the world, to more inner, "work with what you've got" energy, using your resources and creations to BUILD ON, primarily behind the scenes in preparation for Spring Initiation, 6-months from now.

This *Sacred Season* is About:
Time when the veils between dimensions are thinnest, easing communications
Time for honoring the end of a cycle, while glimpsing the new cycle coming in
Time for honoring the dead, completion & closure (ancestors, projects etc)
Time for honoring that which is complete (aspects of your Being & world)
Time to prepare for seasonal shift (Winter, time to rest & replenish)
Time to prepare for several months of INNER Self-Work

SCORPIO: Power Requires Proper Values
TAURUS: Resources Require Creativity

As the Sun moves in to Scorpio (10/22), it activates the *Annual* check in around that which needs to be deeply & permanently released from within or around you so that you can access clean, new power to *create*. This applies to everyone, but for the *Fixed* Babies, it can be a little more intense and personal ... Scorpio *Initiation* ~ Taurus *Integration* ~ Leo/Aquarius *Test/Growth*. Scorpio time also brings the 8th & Final *Sacred* Season of the year and marks the *Mid-Point* between the *Fall* Equinox *Harvest* and the *Winter* Solstice *Initiation* (of NEW Solar year). The Fall *Harvest* has two parts, the initial *Assessments* of all that you've gotten accomplished all year, and that which you can build on going forward. But then, as you dive ever-deeper in to that, you discover that you've created more than you were *Consciously* Aware of and that is when the *Scorpio* Gate of Power gets Activated. It's time to check in with your *SOUL* ~ it's time to go deeper in to the Self-Work to eliminate anything truly done with and prepare ground for a Sacred *Rebirth* to take place. *Scorpio* always teaches you about your own Authentic Power and what you are *Creating* with it.

This is the time when the life/death/life cycle is at work, highlighting the area of your life where you may experience an ending and subsequent new beginning; this is also the most POTENT energy to CREATE with, so be co-creative, pro-active and watch your thoughts and inner dialogues. This also represents karma, which can be actual karma (results of your actions, choices & decisions) or simply the results of your fall harvest ~ all that you have created for the year and how well it will serve your needs thru the winter into the new year. It is a time to 'Honor the Dead' which can apply to friends and family who are no longer on this plane of existence with us, though their essence never dies but actually becomes more accessible at this time. Or it can also apply to your Being, your creative projects, cycles in your life that are now complete. In between a completion and initiating a new cycle, project or part of your Self, a 'time-out' ~ rest ~ reverence ~ reflection are all highly recommended. Also, Samhain (pronounced sa-win) is the final of the *8* Sacred Seasons of the year when people who honor Mother Earth celebrate each turn of the wheel, each cycle. This is the season between *Fall* Equinox and *Winter* Solstice, so there is an element of 'harvest' still going on, however, it is more about *Surrender & Rest* ~ in preparation for new life. Mother Earth rests in one part of the world so that She can nourish the other half of the world with Light & Life.

It's time to assess what you're working with, establish balance after the intense and transformative Summer and acknowledge all that you've gotten accomplished since Spring. During the last 9-months you have cultivated some aspect of your life and you have the next 3-months to bring it to a positive close, while marinating what you want to create in the coming year. All we can do is take things one step, one season at a time. This 6-weeks (9/22-11/8) should be spent finishing up whatever you want *DONE in 2012* ~ and positioning your Self to *INITIATE come 2013*. If you do your part over this 6-weeks, you should be ready to *INVITE* the Magic ~ the Magic of Great Spirit, which breathes life into ALL things. Prepare now, and then use the upcoming *Scorpio* Gate of Power/Cross Qtr (11/8-12/21), to *INVITE* Your Ancestors, Guides & Benevolent Invisible Assistance and release your attachments and expectations. What Spirit can and will contribute, if you allow it, is far beyond what you can conceptualize at this point, let alone articulate. So set your Highest intentions, and then Invite Spirit to bring it on in.
