Hi All ~ Thank you *ALL* for sharing this 'leg of the journey' with me!! Post-Hawai`i has been quite an integration for me (and ongoing apparently ;-)). I am not the same, so nothing in my world is "the same". Now, granted ~ Hawai`i was June 1st and my birthday was July 1st, but I've been trying to get this mailing out since August 1st and here we are! From what I hear, many of you are also walking new Paths, shedding old skins, emerging lighter, brighter and completely NEW! It's truly miraculous, but not easy, nor simple. As the Sun enters Leo ~ it activates the *Annual* Check-In with your Heart & Authentic Self, are you being true to YOU? and expressing your unique *Light & Brilliance* from the inside out? Leo time always asks that you BE it, not just "appear" to be it; it asks that you know who you are (and Virgo will perfect it ;-)). We are past the Annual Mid-Point (Summer Solstice) of the year 2012, bringing us to the Mid-Point between Summer & Fall. Leo/Virgo time brings the Pre-Harvest (Cross Qtr/Gate of Power) in the Annual Cycle, where we see what we can preserve and build on in time to have a good Fall Equinox and carry us to Winter Solstice. This is a potent time, especially for the *Fixed* Family ... LEO *Initiation* ~ AQUARIUS *Integration* ~ TAURUS/SCORPIO *Test/Growth*. It's a clich�, I know, but Authentic Self-Love, a genuine Self-Worth, Knowing who you Are (all Leo's domain) ~ ALL of the above are CENTRAL to your success, personally or professionally. And preparation is the key to self-confidence (also Leo's domain). Do the work! The current planetary energies strongly support ANY work you do to strengthen a good self-image, identify your strengths and build on those. Don't suppress your NATURE to please and appease others, honor your Being and others will honor it too. That goes for the entire *Fixed* Family as you ALL *4* hold a specific *KEY* that creates and anchors your reality around the Self-Love/Self-Worth issues in particular.

The above pic is the *Hawai`ian *Star* Compass* and one of the many things our *LEO* Master Navigator Uncle Kālepa taught us was to *Know Your Mission*! 2012 is well underway and we have all navigated *life* to this point with all the challenges and many triumphs, now what? The Universal *Seas* are churning and moving Life along, so rather than give in to victim/overwhelm, it is much better find/create/acquire a *COMPASS* ~ figure out where you ARE ~ and decide where you're GOING. I personally use the internal compass that is aligned with the natural seasons. I will be on Indian Rocks Beach at Sunset (8/8) to honor the *Mid-Point* between Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox. It is time to make an *Offering* ~ a willing sacrifice ~ to clear space for ongoing life and fruitfulness, perhaps a *Burning Bowl* for releasing any regrets and honoring closures that happened in the last year. Then attention turns to what can be preserved, strengthened & fortified. This period is all about *PRESERVING* what is growing strong, solid, useful and nourishing ... while releasing density, weight and excess to be composted in to something more useful in the season to come. It's a time of gratitude and celebration, in anticipation of the Fall Equinox ~ *Sacred* Season of Harvest. Some call this Cross Qtr the Pre-Harvest. You can get a jump-start on assessing the year if you've completed your "clearing and releasing" process. If not, this is the final *purge* (over next 6-weeks) in preparation for the Harvest Season. It's time to position your Self for an expanded perspective at this time. Explore your options with fresh eyes! Allow your instincts to guide you on your Path and Trust the Divine Feminine within and around you to *contain, nurture and protect* all life, now and always. Artemis, one of the many Goddesses associated with this season, reminds us to honor that which sustains us and to always aim your magical arrow at only the most precious dreams, your deepest heart's desire.

Mars represents your desire nature, what motivates you to action, what you are passionate about and willing to fight for. Saturn represents your definition of reality and the foundational structure of your life. When they get together it is a mixed blessing. The Shadow side of Mars is being impatient, hot-headed and foolish, while the Shadow side of Saturn is feeling inadequate, blockages and delays. The truth is, if you cannot balance these energies within your Self, you are going to have a challenging time with them together in the sky, activating you directly. However, if you have done your personal work over the last 2-years with integrity, you should be fortified at this time with the clarity of knowing what you deeply want, what you are willing to be responsible for and where you stand (for better or worse).

Mars is the *catalyst* here and why it is a 2-year Cycle. It just came out of its Retrograde in Virgo (7/3), which also only happens every 2-years. This timing happens to bring a second alignment with Saturn in Libra, which is relatively rare (to get a second chance like this). It's last 2-yr Cycle with Saturn was also in Libra (July 25, 2010 - Aug 15, 2012) so actually we are well-aware of the Libra issues illuminated at this time. Now, we are going to prepare for this "second chance" (Aug 15, 2012 - Aug 25, 2014) to set intentions for Activating Power & Responsibility: Creating the Reality You Desire ... around our Libra Relationships, Partnerships & Collaborations. Every 2-yrs or so, who you are and what you want *evolves*. If Mars happens to do this in a Sign that is important to you/your chart, then it is all the more "personal" and all the more useful for you to co-create rather than be victim to the energies. In this case, Libra/Aries and Cancer/Capricorn are the Signs most directly affected.

We will gather to go over the energy of these two planets, the general *pattern* they create together and how to navigate it consciously. The last time Mars & Saturn linked up in Libra was July 7, 1982 and then we only got one shot at it. This "second chance" is most definitely *GRACE* and a good sign that we can all, individually, socially & collectively, find a workable solution between our individual needs/goals and the social structures which support large groups of humans.
