Hi All ~ Happy New Year! As you receive this, we have just finished the *Initiation* work of Capricorn, laying the foundation for the year and making certain *Choices & Decisions* as a result of reviewing and closing 2011. Based on all that, we now are more clear about the necessary *Sacrifices* that will have to be made in preparation for Spring *Bloom*! There is much tending, building and fortifying to do, so that we are all strong and centered enough to take advantage of all the *opportunities* rolling in during the entire year *2012*. I have my list of Relevant *Alignments & Activations* for the year and hope to get you an *Overview* soon. In the meantime, the Monthly *TOOLS* will *Guide & Support* you during these amazing shifts and tricky transitions we all have to navigate ;-) I am using Mars & Saturn Retrograde early in the year to support *ReBirthing* the KarmicTools website (what I do and the container/foundation that supports it). I have some really *FUN* Tools in the making that will support us in this rapidly evolving world we live in, but the new *container* first and then we can work some juicy, positive *Mojo* going forward. As the Sun moves in to Aquarius (1/20), it *Illuminates* your current *Head/Heart* Alignment. This is the Full Phase of Leo, suggesting *Heart* has carried us thus far and now we must connect with Inner *Intelligence* ~ Creative Logic to determine the next step and break free from old, limiting patterns so we can *Initiate* something truly brand NEW. This is an *Annual* Activation for everyone, but for the *Fixed* Family, it can be a little more intense and personal ... AQUARIUS *Initiation* ~ LEO *Integration* ~ TAURUS/SCORPIO *Test/Growth*. As we wrap up the official *Initiation* of 2012, along with the brief support of ALL Planets Direct (12/25-1/23), we shift to the Aquarian work of figuring out how it's all going to work together for the greater good of all involved. Mars & Saturn both pull back during this month, giving us all a chance to review what we really *Want* (Mars) in our 3D/Reality (Saturn) and what we're willing to DO (Mars) to lay the Foundation (brick-by-brick Saturn's way). The lessons are animated by the Signs: Virgo & Libra ... Virgo is *Trust & Discernment* so among the many blessings, you will re-acquaint your Self with your *Intuition* and a step-by-step process that helps re-calibrate your sense of *Timing* in terms of when to act bold and decisively and when to work diligently behind the scenes on the *Details* that hold the Big Vision together. The lesson of Libra is *Balance & Reciprocity* in all your exchanges with others, personal, professional and otherwise. Mars only Retrogrades every 2+ years and this is Saturn's *FINAL* review of the Libra material before it moves in to Scorpio and changes the whole dynamic. We are being presented with many new choices, alternative forms of *support* and radically different *Partnerships & Collaborations* are possible by 2013 ... if we lay the ground-work NOW! Once again, the first half of the year (2012) will be and feel dramatically different than the second half of 2012. So keep in mind each month (Aquarius) is a *Response* to the LAST month (Capricorn) and *Preparation* for the NEXT month (Pisces).

I think Brigid gives us an excellent starting-point for *Feeling* Mars in Virgo, her vital gifts will be tremendously useful to *Reference* as we navigate Mars' extended stay in Virgo (Nov-July). It can either be *fussy & frustrating* because "nothing's ever good enough" ... or it can be *inspired* creative *healthy* daily living that *heals & feeds* you on a Soul Level! Mars has 24-month process ~ 8-months of conscious, dedicated *Work* (earns) prepares you for a 16-month *Experience*. Mars in Virgo asks you to build on the work you did 2-years ago when it worked the Leo process (self-love). This is the *FINAL* Retrograde in Libra for 28+ years! (The last time Saturn moved through Libra was 1980-83, Scorpio 1983-86.) It's time for Libra's energy of restoring balance in the current reality & restructuring relationships. You may be feeling the energy of limitation (blockages, delays, fear, depression) typically associated with Saturn but I assure you this is not the point of this energy. The truth is that pulling back is both *NATURAL & ESSENTIAL* to healthy growth and development.
