This *Sacred Season* is About:
Time when the veils between dimensions are thinnest, easing communications
Time for honoring the dead (ancestors etc)
Time for honoring that which is complete (aspects of your Being & world)
Time for honoring the end of a cycle, while glimpsing the new cycle about to begin
Time to prepare for seasonal shift (this hemisphere is Winter, time to rest & replenish)
Time to prepare for several months of INNER Self-Work

*Samhain* ~ Cross Quarter / Gate of Power ~ Honoring the Invisible Assistance ~ This completes the *8* Sacred Seasons of the Solar Year. You've done all you can do for the last 10+ months and now you must surrender. The Cross Quarter Seasons (between each of the Solstices and Equinoxes) have long been considered to be *Gates of Power* ~ a threshold that offers access to other realms of existence, other Dimensions which are relevant and connected to our 3rd Dimension. During this time of year, reflection on the past and rumination on the future *commingle*. The angels, ancestors and spirit guides should be honored and will be more accessible for communing. You can ask for their guidance on the lesson and purpose of certain events/experiences of the past year and/or you can ask for guidance on how to proceed during the coming year.

After completion, clearing and release, it is an especially good time to *SIT* with the Empty Space for a period of time. This is a Infinitely potent time ~ "in between" ~ a place, also referred to as the "Sweet Spot" - that very thin membrane between *SEED* and *NEW* Life. Plant your seeds of the future during this dark time and be still, listen, invite *LIFE*. This 6-week period prior to Winter Solstice (in this hemisphere) has the longest nights, implying rest, work behind closed doors and moving through any darkness. It is time to restore strength and prepare for the Light's return Dec 21st, when *Life* will again begin to quicken.

*Reminders* ~ Mercury Retrograde & Eclipse Season begin this month! Mercury (along with Venus) entered Sag Nov 2nd and Mercury will not hit Capricorn until Jan 8th, giving us 2-months to review the entire year, and specifically our *Truth & Story* ~ what we *Conceive* and what we *Believe*. It will Retrograde Nov 24th and go Direct Dec 13th ... here's your *Reminder*: ... "it will also help to keep in mind some of the bigger shifts affecting these Signs: Aries, Leo & Sag. The Aries one (Mar-Apr 2011) will assist you in processing the bigger shifts Jupiter and Uranus are bringing in at this time. Mercury's Retrograde essentially *Opens & Closes* the Gemini/Sagittarius Eclipse *Season* this month. A powerful reminder that our thinking is being fundamentally changed and we are *course-correcting* around our Sag Truth & Belief System and our Gemini Logic & Info Processing ... Information vs. Wisdom. We had about 18-months (July 2009 - February 2011) to cultivate and renew the fundamentals of material structure & security (Capricorn) and emotional nourishment & security (Cancer). Now (Feb 2011 - Sept 2012), the focus centers around navigating the North Node (Current Path) with faith and wisdom (Sagittarius) while recalibrating the South Node (Past Path) of how we reason and communicate (Gemini). This energy/cycle is about developing a *NEW* 19-year Truth & Story, based on wisdom gained from life experience (since July 1992 - Jan 1994), which is far deeper and broader than the "facts" might indicate. It is time to be responsible for the story you're telling. The Nodes indicate "life path" so for this 18-month period, we are all being re-aligned with Faith, Truth & Wisdom (Sagittarius) while releasing past ideas, thoughts and concepts (Gemini) which are no longer valid. At this pivotal time, more information has been revealed and more is still yet to be uncovered. It is time for a Higher Truth and your own Inner Wisdom to guide your steps.

Like the goddess herself, it is meant to give us hope, to remind us that spring is on its way. The lessons of this complex and widely beloved goddess are many. The Celtic goddess Brigid lends us her creativity and inspiration, but also reminds us to keep our traditions alive and whole. These are gifts that can sustain us through any circumstance. I think Brigid gives us an excellent starting-point for *Feeling* Mars in Virgo, her vital gifts will be tremendously useful to *Reference* as we navigate Mars' extended stay in Virgo (Nov-July). It can either be *fussy & frustrating* because "nothing's ever good enough" ... or it can be *inspired* creative *healthy* daily living that *heals & feeds* you on a Soul Level! Mars has 24-month process ~ 8-months of conscious, dedicated *Work* (earns) prepares you for a 16-month *Experience*. Mars in Virgo asks you to build on the work you did 2-years ago when it worked the Leo process (self-love). Then, I encouraged people to work on *who you are* and *what you want* and I think this Virgo process (trust/discernment) will *fix and heal* the remaining "little things" that make you *who you are* which will lead to the NEXT process, which is Libra in 2014. Add Chiron in Pisces across the way, lending potent healing energy to the *Initiation* of this Mars process and you can come out next Spring or Summer living a *Passionate & Practical* life of your own making ... yummmm!

As with all Retrogrades, the energy that is normally outwardly expressed becomes more inner directed. And Mars is the planet of passion, action, sex, war, and desire. What do you desire at this time? What do you passionately desire? Or have you lost your passion? Have you been “passionate” about ANYTHING lately? What have you been actively pursuing in the world? What gets you "fired-UP"? What makes you angry? Is your anger mobilizing (outrage) or paralyzing (rage) for you? What are you willing to get started/initiate? What are you willing to honor, defend, protect and courageously, stand up for?
