Training and Service Support

Greg Blue Crop

I believe we have the best array of aftermarket products and services in the marketplace.  The following article about Gary Fisher is an example of how we continue to expand this array. In his new position, he will respond to the aftermarket requirements of printers and publishers, consulting with them in developing specific support programs and strategies.

Commercial Press Enhancements

M-600 Autoplate Light Curtain

M-600 AutoplateExisting M-600 press systems with Autoplate use a proximity switch on the unit platforms to sense the presence of an operator as part of the safety package. These switches are difficult to set up and maintain, sometimes give false signals which inhibit the operation of the press, and are difficult to trouble-shoot.

Newer Autoplate M-600 presses utilize a light curtain formed by two columns of light beams which inhibit operation if they are crossed by an operator. This system is now available as an enhancement kit and has proven to be more reliable and easier to maintain, minimizing lost time due to false signals while still maintaining the proper safety requirements.
