Shine Week 6-10 July 2009
shine

Last year around 2,500 schools across England took part in Shine Week and hosted events designed to celebrate the diverse talents of children and young people across the country. Teachers and young people worked together to deliver a wide range of creative learning activities, projects, assemblies and end-of-term events to showcase different kinds of talent in their school and also created a 'buzz' about talent in the wider community. National and local media supported the Shine campaign and many school events featured in print and broadcast coverage.

This year Shine Week is back and takes place from 6th-10th July 2009. With your help, the Shine festival will be bigger and better than ever, so don't miss out on the chance to play your part! Take a look at the Shine website to find out how to get involved and register your school's details on the site to get access to a wide range of learning resources and event ideas.

Every participating school registered on the Shine website will get a free kit of creative resources, access to free downloads and free web space to show off the school's best work.
