Dear ,
We are having such an
exciting spring with numerous projects and announcements to share with you.
Jim was proud to be part of the production team for the recent BBC LIFE series, Plants episode on The Discovery Channel in April. From the makers of PLANET EARTH and narrated by global media leader and
philanthropist Oprah Winfrey, the epic television series LIFE is the
definitive exploration of our planet's living things and their
spectacular, bizarre and fascinating behaviors.
The April issue of National Geographic, Water: Our Thirsty World, featured Jim's image of a summer storm at Tofte Lake, Minnesota.
Two large, framed Jim Brandenburg images are on their way to the U.S. Embassy at The Vatican as part of the ART in Embassies Program with the
U.S. Department of State. The images were requested by Dr. Miguel Humberto Diaz, U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See.
Four of Jim Brandenburg's images have been chosen for inclusion in a unique collection that represents the 40 most important nature photographs of all time. The images were chosen by members of the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP) a fellowship of the world's top professional conservation photographers.
Jim and Parker Palmer will be discussing Courage and Light on Wisconsin Public Radio, Thursday, June 3, from 3 - 4pm.
