As soon as I got in to New York (I took the red eye) we went to a place that Flame had scouted out and had found these gorgeous leather jackets, that we were able to get at such amazing prices! Our Price $118- 228 (originally $594 - $1194) Plus finding other treasures ... Jewelry, scarves, glasses... Then there are my favorite glass teapots with warmers ... small candle keeps tea warm all day. Feeling stressed? Try a tea party ... even of one!
Had great fun hanging with my many friends and my brother James. And I saw Hair, which just returned to Broadway and which I was in for a bit, in Paris, 40 years ago. Although it was good to see the revival, watching actors play hippies rather then being hippies, as they were 40 years ago, was a very different experience. As they say, "You had to be there", and I feel blessed to have been. I've always wanted to do the sequel ... Gray Hair? (hmmm ... I don't have gray hair) ... and was talking to (Rabbi) Sara, who was in the first cast outside of NYC, about playing on it ... as we are always living it! Maybe a writing party ... casting party ... performance party?
When I was in Central Park, I was given a "Peace Bag" filled with green and peaceful treasures you can see at Outback ( I was asked to "peace it forward"). And the project originated in Berkeley!
So now back by the Bay ... I feel blessed to be and live in the Bay area ... with the support to be a hippie in all I do!
Peaceful love,
