4 Countries, 3 Business Ventures, 10 Hotels, 10 Planes, A Train, Many Cabs...Even a Bentley
I've just returned from a series of new travel experiences to share - most recently being "unplugged" on the Pacific Coast of Mexico and staying at the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita, pictured at right. Believe me, I know it's hard to let go of tech devices, but what a great way to make a few days feel like a few weeks!

My 2012 began with the Gulf Coast Connoisseur Club in New Zealand and Australia. It's always rewarding to travel with Michael & Terri Klauber, and the wine was fabulous! If you're interested to travel Down Under, here's a wine themed itinerary that may be customized for a couple, family or group.
The Connoisseur Club will visit the Basque and wine regions of Spain for a culinary adventure this fall. I visited San Sebastian and La Rioja in February, and stayed at Fran Gehry's fabulous Marques de Riscal hotel, pictured at right. Check out a few of my photos on Facebook.
Among my favorite experiences for foodies (and wine lovers!) in this hot, hot destination are 1 - the pintxos, which are the Basque version of tapas, 2 - a hands-on Basque cooking course and 3 - dinner at Arzak with a behind-the-scenes tour by Chef Juan Mari Arzak, one of the most respected chefs in Europe!
I also visited Cairo to meet with business contacts and assess the situation for travelers. I am invigorated by the enthusiasm among the locals and have added even more authentic, local experiences into my escorted Egypt group tour, People Places and Stories this October, as well as custom itineraries.
The Egyptians are going through an amazing transition for the benefit of a better future. I encourage anyone who has ever dreamed of visiting this fabulous destination to take advantage of greater value, fewer crowds (check out the access you get at the Great Pyramids in the photo above!), warm appreciation from service industry and excitement among the locals. In the past 30 days, I've made 12 new bookings for Egypt.
In fact, there's never been a better time to start traveling with Admiral, as our travelers are saving $800 on average per booking with Travel Connoisseur Club points - one even saved $1100 off fare for a Viking River Cruise! In short, we award points at 50% of the value of cruises, hotel stays and tours that may be used to redeem 3% or 5% off the value of a future trip.
You can earn points simply by referring Admiral Travel, so please forward this newsletter to your friends who may not already be ATI clients. Not only will they start earning points on the travel they book, you will, too, just for the referral!
TCC Points May Be Combined With Virtuoso Benefits
What could be better than earning and redeeming your TCC points with Admiral Travel? You also get to combine TCC points with Virtuoso travel benefits. A friend who regularly visits the spa at Canyon Ranch booked direct with the property for the past year...
Until she realized she would receive Virtuoso benefits, including a complimentary upgrade, complimentary breakfast, a $400 spa credit and 5,000 TCC points to apply to future travel, just for reserving her stay with Admiral Travel!
Long story short, The benefits of traveling with Admiral are tangible and plentiful. We hope you will take advantage of them! |
