Golf Lab 4.0

The Putting Lab is Open for Practice

For Players Committed to Improvement

Greetings!

In August, our putting tournament had everyone's heart pounding.  David took down Goliath.  It's going to be worth your while to learn to putt the AimPoint green.  Competition for money and prizes will return in November.  Golf should be fun.

Why not win your Edel putter?

We discovered that learning AimPoint green reading was much easier for golfers to comprehend when presented indoors.  Indoor is comfortable, convenient and much, much better after dark.

Last week we upgraded our gizmos and stress tested our systems.  We invited 24 volunteers to "donate their swings to science" so we could put the new SAM Putt Lab software through its paces - detecting nearly invisible movements.  Wow!!

We documented a direct relationship between a player's aiming bias and the path of his stroke.  Players who aim left "compensate" with an inside out stroke path or clockwise rotation.  Just the opposite for right aiming players.  If you ever plan to improve your putting, you should start out by understanding your stroke.  There is a reason you're missing putts.

If you're among the 95% of players who aim outside the hole you can begin your putting improvement program by learning how to aim where you're thinking.

It's up to you to take the first step.

The Putting Lab is Open

The "Putting Club" on the AimPoint putting surface is open Tuesday and Thursday evenings from five until seven PM.

Our goal is to help club members understand their strengths and weaknesses with putting - and learn how to practice their weaknesses.

We will utilize all of our electronic tools.  The SAM Putt Lab has an "extended training mode" which allows players to track their progress in training their stroke.  Putting Club members will receive instruction in using and operating the Putt Lab.  You will track your progress scientifically.

The Putt Lab is an $8000 gizmo.  Of the 1000 Putt Labs sold worldwide, over 400 belong to Tour Players.  You need good tools.

We will work with you to develop a practice program.

The Putting Club is primarily for committed players who want to get better and are willing to pay the price in practice.

Our goal is to document improvement - and understand how long it takes.  If you're looking for a two hour miracle, this is not your solution.  If you're looking for two strokes in a month, that's reasonable.

The Business Deal

The AimPoint Putting Surface will be open on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 until 7 PM.

There is a limit of 10 players on the putting surface.  You can take your chances and "walk in" but players with reservations have priority.  You can make your reservation online.  However, you must be entered into the system by Dian Terova.  To do that, call Dian any weekday morning between 9 and 12:30.

The cost is $20 per session.  For $95, you can come every day for a month (8 sessions).  Juniors are half price.  There is no initiation fee.

The Golf Lab is committed to making the best instruction and equipment available to juniors.  The Putting Club is an example of our commitment:  16 hours of training for less than $4 per hour.

The first Putting Club meeting is next Tuesday.  Keep in mind, we only have 20 guaranteed reservations per week.

AimPoint Indoors this Winter

We are working with the schedule to understand the most convenient "windows" for the three-hour "Introduction to AimPoint" seminar.

One time that's sticking is Saturday afternoons.  We have a few slots open this Saturday from 1-4.

Introduction to AimPoint comes with three free Putting Club sessions.  So, if you want the ultimate fast start, book your Introduction on Saturday and reserve the next three Putting Club sessions.  You still have time to shoot your low score this year.

If you're serious, don't wait.

Last week we "sold out" the Tour Lock fitting session with John Johnson in a little over a day.  If you want to be among the first members of the Putting Club, call Dian and make your reservations today.

Plan to stop by.

Best Regards,
