Last Call for This Weekend - June 19-21st.

The Links at Half Moon Bay - Mark Sweeney - AimPoint Inventor

Presented by The Golf Lab, Schy Golf Academy and Balbi Golf

Three Hours to better putting - guaranteed

June 16, 2010

Greetings!

Our mission at the Golf Lab is to help you play better golf and have more fun.

For most players, that means shooting lower scores.

What better way to save strokes on the green than to read the break correctly?  If you need a second putt, it let it be a tap-in.

At least give yourself a chance by knowing the break - for sure.

This weekend, the inventor of Aim Point, Mark Sweeney will be at Half Moon Bay for three days - teaching the Aim Point System.  You have an extraordinary opportunity to walk the greens on the back nine at the Half Moon Bay Ocean Course learning from the "Master".

We are talking about the same Mark Sweeney who came to California to work with Padraig Harrington and a growing list of PGA Tour Pros at the US Open.

You have a rare opportunity to learn on-course with the man who invented AimPoint.  We have one place left in each of the on-course sessions.  That's three hours of personal instruction with an intimate group of just seven other golfers.

If you just want to get started with AimPoint, you can register for a Level I session.  Mike Schy and David Balbi are presenting the AimPoint Level I clinic for only $200.  There are convenient morning and afternoon times Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Join the Golf Lab Gang at Half Moon Bay this weekend.  There is no risk.  Your total satisfaction is guaranteed or we'll refund your tuition.

AimPoint Technologies

glover

It's the Blue Line on the Golf Channel.

If you have watched tournaments on the Golf Channel in the last several months you will be intrigued by the story behind the "Blue Line".
It's never wrong.  If the ball rolls off the blue line it's a miss.

Aim Point was invented by Mark Sweeney.  He's licensed his technology to the Golf Channel for use in their tournament broadcasts.  He's validated his methods with proven PGA Tour results.  Aim Point is a new way to read greens that is much more reliable than trusting your eyes.  It is based on mathematics and science - foreign subjects for most golfers.

Once you learn the Aim Point System you will never again miss the direction of a break.

But truly amazing, you will receive your own pocket charts that tell not only the direction of the break but also the amount of break in inches from any position around the hole.  Imagine "knowing" the exact break of every putt.

Is That Legal?

Just think of your Aim Point charts like a very detailed yardage book - for greens.  It's the same kind of information.  Perfectly legal by USGA standards.

On a Good Day, You (Probably) Aim Poorly

Most players are just plain lucky to get the ball in the hole.  In our testing, only one in ten players aims his putter inside the hole from eight feet.

If you consistently aim right or left of your target, you will compensate by subconsciously changing the path of your stroke or the face angle of your putter.

Players who aim left, must have "compensated" with a subsconscious inside-out stroke, or some mysterious face rotation.

And that "compensation" only deals with aiming and starting your putt on line.  How about choosing the right line?

Most pretty good players "visualize" the path that the ball will take to the hole and then try to roll their putt down that path.  That's a miss.  If you want your ball to follow a path that you visualize, you have to aim your putt to a point on the high side of that path.  Your ball will begin breaking the moment it leaves your putter.  If you start it "on line" you will miss low.  Most amateurs miss low.

Aim Point gives you exactly that, an "Aiming Point".  You don't try to putt down a line.  Go ahead and imagine the path - just putt to your "Aiming Pont".  Much more reliable.

We're reminded almost daily that putting is half the game?  Are you paying that important part of your game - and crucial to your scoring - it's fair share of attemtion

Advanced Putting Skills - the PGA Tour Method

Two weeks ago, John Reiger established a Nationwide Tour record of 20 under par for 54 holes. How did he do it? He learned AimPoint.

One of Reiger's playing partners said after the round "He could have been putting into a thimble and he still would have made everything"

Reiger is a new convert to an impressive list of PGA Tour Professionals who have learned and use the AimPoint system for reading greens.

We ran our own test on the effectiveness of AimPoint earlier this year.  Partnering with the Golf Lab, we presented eight AimPoint Level I clinics at Poppy Ridge and Tilden Park.  Over 100 of our clients attended the clinics.  Satisfaction was universal.  Some graduates have reported outstanding results.  Level I graduates want Level 2.

We worked with Mike Schy, the Renaissance Man of Golf from Fresno, in all of our clinics.  No one on the planet has delivered more AimPoint instruction.  Our pledge is to bring the best experts available to help our clients have more fun.

Now, with the lucky coincidence of the US Open coming to the Bay Area we're making it possible for you to take your knowledge of AimPoint to the next level.

Our Promise:

You will learn the only scientific way to read a green.

You will lower your index by two strokes the fastest way possible.

You will make more pressure putts.

Your friends will think you're a genius at reading greens.

You will have more fun on the golf course . . .

Start by joining Balbi Golf and the Golf Lab for a weekend focus on putting.

Rare Opportunity to Learn Aim Point from Mark Sweeney

Mark Sweeney is responsible for the "Blue Line" on the Golf Channel that predicts the line of the putt - the all-important line that goes into the hole.

If you were going to take a lesson on green reading, would you not choose the exclusive consultant to Augusta National who sets the pins for the Masters?

Why do you think the Bo Van Pelt is finishing so high these days?  If you need more examples, go to www.aimpointgolf.com.

Today, fewer than 1000 golfers have been trained in AimPoint methodology.  You're still on the "bleeding edge".  After years in development, AimPoint is ready for "overnight success".  Don't be afraid that this is a flash in the pan - we think it just might be the most important idea to hit putting in the history of golf.

This is a Lucky Opportunity.  Mark is coming to the West Coast to work with his PGA Tour clients at the US Open in just under two weeks.

Mark has agreed to stay in the Bay Area for a few more days to share his amazing knowledge.

We designed the ideal weekend for serious players who are dedicated to understanding and improving all aspects of putting, starting with reading the greens.

There are options for participation in multiple sessions to make your weekend efficient.

The absolutely, positively, best option is to spend three hours with Mark Sweeny on the golf course.  We have arranged to have the back nine available at Half Moon Bay (Ocean Course) for both Sunday and Monday mornings.

You will cover an entire nine holes working on the greens as a group and individually with Mark. This is the kind of experience that costs PGA Tour Professionals and private clients up to $10,000 per day.  The group will be STRICTLY LIMITED TO EIGHT PLAYERS.  Therefore, we only have sixteen slots available.  The Mark Sweeney on-course sessions are sure to fill up fast.  As a Balbi Golf client, I'm making sure that you have advance notice of a rare opportunity.  If you want to do this do not wait.  Phone (650) 595-2748 or email david@balbigolf.com to contact David.  Or, call or email Leith@calgolftech.com
or by phone:  (650) 493-1770.  To be sure you have a spot, call now.

All reservations will be first come first served.  We will be keeping a waiting list just in case.  For this event, we're going with a 48 hour cancellation policy.  All reservations will be charged one week in advance.

Prerequisites

For a player to attend a Mark Sweeney on course session they must have been through the Level 1 course and - at MINIMUM have a clear idea of concepts like "zero line, high and low anchors and finding the straight putt".

To take full advantage of the AimPoint system, the introductory course is mandatory to learn why the system works, master the vocabulary and concepts.

If you have not completed the Level 1 seminar or if you plan on bringing a friend who has not been to the Level 1 seminar we are making several Level 1 seminars available at convenient hours so it is possible to take both the Level 1 seminar and the on course session on Open Weekend.

"Repeating" is Recommended

Don't worry if you're not smarter than a fifth grader.

Everyone who has been through multiple AimPoint Level 1 sessions felt that repeating the experience was valuable.  Each player learned something new each time as their understanding of the concepts became more natural.  Don't be afraid to send yourself back for a "repeat".

A complete AimPoint education requires a period of dedicated practice before the more advanced skills of green reading make sense.

If you would like to REPEAT your Level 1 class and BUNDLE that with the on course session, we're creating a package deal that will be fastest introductory and advanced combination available.

Social Events

When you have a celebrity in town there will be an "Intimate Dinner".  We'll have that with Mark on Sunday night.  Invitations to the dinner will be limited to 20 people. You can assume that there will be the customary dinner speech from Mark with a lot of juicy insider stories.
