Greetings!
A while back you responded to a Golf Lab survey expressing an interest in writing about golf.
I'm getting ready to launch new a website that will be so good and offers so many services that readers are willing to pay for membership.
That's the current holy grail of the Internet.

I will not be contributing any more articles to Golf Today Magazine. However, I'm planning on spending just much time and effort trying to figure out how to communicate over the Internet.
The first step is to get a blog up and going that gives me a good platform to "tell a story". My plan is to present myself as "The Anderson Project" - named after the "Barkley Project" on the Golf Channel.
The story line is a formerly OK but decaying 65 year old senior. Returning to golf after a slack year determined to see if the handicap that shot up three points - from 3.5 to 6.5 in one year can be pushed back down.
Topics covered will be much broader. I can bring in golf swing theories, playing strategy, practice techniques, physical and mental fitness. Very important: a method for measuring improvement.
The "Anderson Project" will publish two or three single subject articles per week.
Judging from the following I generated with the Golf Equipment Chronicles and our customer survey, that should be a very popular subject.
I will also plan to publish more occasional articles on specific subjects - equipment testing - golf ball analysis - technical explanations - list to be completed.
Readers will be able to choose the subjects they want to receive.
I think that I will have a solid backbone with constantly refreshing content.
We will be cooperating with some of the most knowledgeable and ambitious individuals in the golf industry - all intent on figuring out how to leverage the Internet.

I am interested in working with experienced, published writers first. If you are such a person, please get in touch. I'm assuming you'll have a pretty good idea of what you'd like to accomplish.
Our affiliations should give us a lot of exposure.

| If you are an aspiring writer and have a sample that you can submit, please send it along.
If you have no experience but have a good idea of what you'd like to do I'd like to hear about it. You really can't get to far without writing samples.
We will be using Wordpress software so writers have a choice of writing on specific subjects or carrying their own byline. It is the best platform. |
