Greetings!

OK, the cat's out of the bag - the recession is officially on and everyone will start hoarding $100 bills under the mattress.

At the Golf Lab, we need to keep selling golf clubs and fitting services so we're going to put out some offers that we hope will give you incentive to pay us a visit over the next week or so. We've got a great collection of special products that we're going to let go for bargain prices.

We like to give every customer our undivided attention. If you plan ahead and give us a call, we'll set time aside to have an unhurried conversation and update fitting information if necessary. That's the best way. But if you're just in the neighborhood, stop by. We have brought in an extra hand, Michael Quagletti to help us through the holiday season.

Thanksgiving week days and hours. We'll be open all day this Saturday and next Monday and Tuesday. Clint will be in the shop until noon on Wednesday. We're closed on Thanksgiving. We're closed on Friday. Leith will be back from LA on Saturday. We'll limit the free counterweight fittings on both Saturdays so that will be a good day to drop in.

 Miura Irons

We have several sets of demos and trade-ins. That includes some 102's, some Tournament Blades and 201's. Prices are starting at an eBay level: $799 a set. A couple of sets don't have shafts at this point so you can get them with the shaft that you want. These are all very good to near-new condition.

 Miura Irons (Brand New)

We have customers who have flown in from Europe to buy their Miura irons from us. In Europe, Miuras sell for $375 per stick. That makes our normal price of $225 look pretty good. Our custom Miura sets include a top quality shaft and SST PURE. There is no better value in Miura. But, even here we're going to offer an incentive. Order your new custom set of Miura irons and we'll include a matching wedge for no extra charge.

 Scratch Wedges

We have the complete line of Scratch wedges. If you buy a Scratch wedge direct from them you're going to pay $189 plus shipping and handling. You get a steel shaft for that price. During our recession sale, you can have your Scratch wedge fitted with a custom Aerotech or SK Fiber graphite wedge shaft for no extra charge. There is no reason to accept clunky steel shafts in your wedges when you can have the absolute best for performance and feel.

 Adams Irons

We have two sets of the "Tour Only" next-generation Adams forged irons - one in a smoky finish and one in a satin finish. These are super-premium heads that are real tour product. We're offering them for $899 each - just the same price as a common, off-the shelf set of forged irons. You get to choose your custom fitted premium shaft, no limits: Aerotech, Nippon Steel or KB Tour. If you want to build one of the best looking iron sets you'll ever see, pair the smoky heads up with the KB Tour black shafts.

 Adams Irons

Forged and game improvement. We have all of the latest models - "heads only" so you get them set up with your custom fitted choice of shafts. Whatever the model, we'll price them at "street" but give you a custom fitted shaft upgrade as a bonus. That deal is way better than eBay.

 Adams Drivers

The very best new driver this year so far is the Adams 9015d. It is the ultimate low spin head. It comes stock with a Matrix OZIK shaft that's actually pretty good. Retail is $449. Get yours custom fitted for $349. This is a driver that you'll be able to play all next year.

 Nike Drivers

The winner this year was the Nike 5900 Square driver. It is long and STRAIGHT. We have every loft in stock. The new street price is $299. You can have yours for that price - fitted with a shaft that performs and we'll deliver it SST PUREd. If you're looking for the conventional Nike 5000, we've got that one, same deal, at $199. We also have some of the exotic "Tour" heads that are fabulous low-spin drivers. They started the year at $600. Get yours for $399.

 Nike Irons

If you want a set of the SUMOs, we've got them in stock. At the beginning of the year they were $899 - over $1000 for graphite. While they last: $499. If you're looking for brand, brand new Nike Victory Reds, we have three sets of those. The MAP (minimum advertised price) is $899. If you come in, you can probably talk us down.

 MacGregor Irons

One of the absolutely coolest setups that we've seen is the new MacGregor "black" forged irons set up with the black KB Tour shafts. You don't usually think of your irons as eye-catchers but this is exactly what they are. With the custom shafts, they should sell for over $1000. Get this one set that's been hit about twenty times for $699.

 Nickent

The complete line of drivers and irons. If you're thinking the - "Brand of the future" - we're your best choice for Nickent.

 Individual Items of Interest

Taylor Made "Tour" driver - Superquad - originally sold by Bombsquad Golf for almost $2000. Matrix shaft (or equivalent substitute) $599.

Adams "Tour Only" hybrids - $299.

Adams "Boxer" hybrids fitted with OZIK shafts: $229.

Nike Hybrids - Sumo: $149, Standard: $129.

Nike Fairway Metals - Square: $199, Standard: $169.

KB Tour "Black" shafts - limited edition - only 300 sets made. $60 each installed. KB Tour steel shafts - Kenny Perry's favorite - $50 installed. This is the hottest shaft of the year.

You get the Gist: We're adjusting to the times to try to coax our loyal customers to help us keep our business going by tightening our own belt and offering some good deals. We hope you'll find time to stop by during the Thanksgiving season.

Special bonus: If you're an old customer and want to update your fitting, give us a call and we'll make sure you know just the right specifications for any club you plan to buy.

Best Regards,
