We’re thinking hard about 2007 at the Golf Lab. Next year, we want to have more fun and work on helping our customers improve their performance with more than just custom golf clubs. We need your feedback. Which of these activities would be interesting to you? Please reply to Leith@calgolftec h.com. Thanks for your help. |

“Pilgrimage” to Bandon Dunes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No golf destination in America has received more
recognition than Bandon Dunes. We made a fact-
finding trip to the new west coast golf Mecca in
October to check it out and see what it takes to
bring a group.
The golf courses, practice areas and club house are fabulous. The economics are harsh. Short story: it costs $500 per day to play golf at Bandon Dunes. (We’re assuming that if you go that far to play that course, it’s a little embarrassing to pull a cart.) If we put together a trip with luxury bus transportation to Bandon Dunes to play all three courses over four days, would you be willing to spend $2000 for the experience?

Local Golf Tournaments ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We love to play Poppy Hills. The problem is getting a
tee time. You have to get up early, have speed dial
on your phone and be incredibly lucky. If we
schedule a “tournament” we can get times more than
a month in advance. Planning is possible. You get
to play at convenient times.
If we put together a golf tournament at Poppy Hills, would you be interested in playing? Of course, we would supply enough prizes to make the competition interesting. What format do you prefer? Individual low net? Fourball? Scramble?

Outside Experts ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last summer we had a fabulous response to
our “Shootouts” at Poppy Ridge. We brought in some
outside experts who were booked solidly for two
days. This year, we’re thinking of raising the bar a
little higher. One example would be Geoff Mangum, a
guy who is rapidly becoming the top putting guru in
the US. For more information on Geoff Mangum, go
to www.puttingzon
e.com.
Would you be interested in booking a private lesson with an expert such as Geoff Mangum? Would you prefer a group session or seminar? Who else would you be interested in seeing?

Golf Lab Tour Van ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last year we traveled frequently to Poppy Ridge with
our Tour Van. We think that there are benefits to
outdoor fittings, including a different style of launch
monitor and the ability to “feel the dirt”.
Will you be interested in outdoor fittings with the Tour Van in 2007? Where would you like to see the Tour Van scheduled?

Tournament Players’ School ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Last year, Eric Jones presented his Tournament
Players’ School. We thought it was worthwhile.
Would you be interested in participating in such an
event in 2007?
Thank you for your time. Regards, Leith Anderson and Bob Huff
