New addition to the Poppy Ridge lineup – October Articles ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s just a couple of days until the “Technology
Shootout” at the Poppy Ridge Golf Course. The
event was completely sold out – end to end bookings
on both Friday and Saturday until 4 PM, but we have
added two more appointments to each day - from 5
to 6 pm. Call the Golf Lab for your appointment fast
before they are gone. To make an important
statement about helping our clients improve their
game we’ve managed to convince John Cranston,
one of the two founders of Balance-Certified Golf to
fly out to California to provide his unique experience
fitting putters. John has been the primary
representative of Balance-Certified on all of the
professional tours over the last five years. He has
almost single-handedly established a new tour
standard – counter weighting putters. John has
fitted hundreds of tour players. He will be with us all
day Friday and Saturday. To help pay for the plane
ticket, we are charging a very reasonable $40 fitting
fee. Time required is thirty to forty-five minutes.
Loft and lie adjustment is no extra charge.
If you registered for a radar launch monitor fitting, we will be telephoning you to confirm your reservation on Thursday and you can sign up for a fitting with John at that time. If you don’t want to wait, call the shop: (650) 493-1770. We will make the time fit, but remember, you can have a very nice lunch and an afternoon round of golf to make the day memorable. If you would really, really, like us to squeeze you in to the Technology Shootout, we are keeping a “waiting list” just in case we have some cancellations. If you found these dates inconvenient but would like to participate in a similar program in October, send Leith Anderson an email (Leith@calgolftech.com) and we’ll put a day together if we get enough response. For those who have scheduled launch monitor fitting times, we will have some open slots for putter fittings with Heather Hughes and wedge fittings with Ari Techner, the “wizard of the wedge” and founder of Scratch Golf.
