1) Tour-grade, radar-based launch monitor fitting. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
 The Golf Lab has acquired both the
Flightscope
Cheetah and the Trackman radar-based
launch monitors. This generation of launch monitor
delivers accurate spin rate and trajectory information
outdoors. The Trackman is the current
darling of the PGA Tour and the Cheetah is in a neck-
and-neck race to prove that their technology is even
better. For the first time, you can get a reliable
fitting outdoors where you can see ball flight.
“It’s all in the dirt” – some clubs, especially irons, wedges, utility clubs and fairway metals should be tested hitting off of a natural grass surface. Feel counts.

2) Scratch Wedge Fitting ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ari Techner the president and founder of
Scratch Golf Clubs will fly down from
Oregon. He will have a complete bag full of every
Scratch wedge design and spend a half hour
with every attendee. You are obligated to a $50
fitting fee per half hour which will include an analysis
of your current wedges and your swing. If you
decide to try a Scratch wedge, the fitting
fee is fully applicable to a purchase. Scratch
wedges retail for $199 but for this weekend
only, they will be available for $179

3) Balance-Certified Putter Fitting ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
John Cranston, a founder and VP at
Balance-Certified Golf is flying in from
Alabama for the Technology Shootout. For
the last five years, John has been the primary
representative of Balance-Certified on the
professional tours. He has worked with hundreds of
Tour players. This is a unique opportunity for
Golf Lab customers to take advantage of a
truly PGA Tour professional fitting service. John’s
fitting fee is $30 for an intensive half hour session.

4) Heather Hughes Putter Fitting and Adjustment ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Golf Lab acquired the state-of-the-art
putter fitting system from Science and Motion
(SAM), a West German company. The SAM
machine is a “launch monitor for your putter”.
You will know your path, consistency and point of
contact. You can compare the performance of
different putters and find the right one for you.
Heather will provide putting tips, an analysis of your
stroke and adjust the loft, lie and length of your
putter if that is required. Putter fittings are $75 per
hour and include any required adjustments to loft, lie
or length.

5) Eric Jones Lessons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is a very rare opportunity to have a chance to
work with a world champion in any sport. Eric
Jones won the World Senior Long Drive
Championship in 2003 and added other titles
since. He is the only senior to beat all of
the “juniors” that are a foot or two taller and twice
as strong. Eric is a master of technique. This year,
Eric was appointed “Director of Instruction” at
Poppy Ridge. He founded the Seaver
Golf Academy. He invented the concept
of “Tour Players’ School”. If you are coming to
Poppy Ridge, it is a mistake to miss the

6) Free Golf Lessons ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Impractis Company has installed video
training devices at many golf courses around the Bay
Area. The systems work very well. As a promotion,
the Impractis company is subsidizing free golf lessons
utilizing their equipment. The lessons will be
delivered by the professional staff of the Seaver
Golf Academy. All you have to do is phone the
Golf Lab to reserve your time. Each free

7) Bargain Golf Clubs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We will be bringing many clubs from our warehouse.
If you are looking for a high performance driver or set
of irons, we will be selling off our demonstration clubs
at incentive prices. In addition, many of our
suppliers are helping us provide incentives for our
customers. You can find drivers starting at $100,
utility clubs starting at $49, and many more bargains.

8) Tweak your Clubs ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you would like new grips, installed with our
customized “air” system you can get that done at
the shootout. We can customize the perfect profile
for you. Call the Golf Lab to make sure that
we have your preferred style on board the Tour Van.
We will also be available to check lofts and lies and
do simple reshafting for drivers. Iron reshafting will
be completed at the Golf Lab.

9) Finally, “Something for Nothing” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

has introduced a program to “cash in” the junk
from your garage. Any driver, no matter how old,
how bad or whatever manufacturer is eligible to
receive a $25 credit on a new, custom-fitted
SMT driver. Clean out your garage. Your
drivers, fairways, and irons are all worth something in
trade. This even includes clubs that you can’t sell

10) Incentives for Golf Lab Customers ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You’re probably doing a little calculation. We’re
asking you to pay for time and attention. That’s a

For Golf Lab customers who would like to schedule three sessions, you can do that for the price of two. If you would like to spend most of the day with us, that is also an option. For just the price of a full Golf Lab fitting session, $245, you can schedule four fitting sessions. In addition to that, for any customer who goes for the “whole meal deal” you are welcome to hang out the entire day, testing any of our clubs, practicing on the Poppy Ridge range including the practice bunkers. Outdoor fittings give you the
opportunity to test the
clubs in your bag to determine the best and most
consistent performers. If you are contemplating a
purchase, bring that club with you to test against
the clubs you already own. Most players are
interested in driver performance, but radar-based
launch monitors are very effective for comparing the
performance of irons and wedges – your scoring
clubs. You might also decide you’d like to know
exactly the carry distance of each of your clubs. We
can perform precise club gapping with you. Accurate
gapping can make a big difference in your set
