New Technology at The Golf Lab ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the technology side, we’ve added the new Max
Out Golf Shaft Max. One of only two units in the
world, this revolutionary diagnostic tool gives you
a “fingerprint” of your swing. The Shaft Max proves
that fitting by swingspeed alone is not enough.
We’ve always known that, but had no way to
measure the way a player loads the shaft. Now we
do. For some players, shaft flex recommendations
are radically different. Stop by for a quick test to
get your own fingerprint.
Since it’s the Christmas season, we are compelled to offer a few incentives to get you to alter your plans in the next couple of weeks to pay us a visit. We will be closed on Christmas Eve, but open between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
“PUREing does interest me very much indeed. It is the thing of the future. I believe that every shaft should be PUREd to put any structural inconsistency in a plane “down the line” rather than “across it.” At the very least it’s got to help, psychologically, to know that every shaft is exactly the same. Ideally, shafts should be PUREd at the factory before the graphics are put on so that they are all visually consistent as well.”

A couple of months ago, we introduced the brand
new “Epoch Tees” that guarantee you extra
distance. We’re willing to agree that you might get
one inch more – we’re tough to convince on space
age tees –
but they last a whole round if you jiggle them a little
bit before you hit your drive. A free dozen for any

We bought the last of a great model from KZG. It’s
their shallow faced three wood that was the original
inspiration for the Orlimar fairway metals from a few
years ago. This one has the maraging steel face that
made Orlimar famous. Original price was $249 and
that was on the Infomercial. If you come by in the
next two weeks test your swing, make sure we’ve
got the flex and length correct, find a premium pull-
out shaft and set you up with a brand new KZG three
wood.

If you’re still carrying long irons, you’re probably not
wearing them out. For most players, the 3 iron is out
of the bag. The 4 iron is next. If you haven’t tried a
utility club yet, now is the time. We have a nice
selection of utility heads, good performing component
models, that we’ll set up for $69 Now might be a
good time to give that 4 iron a rest.
