Reminder: Record Match Play Scores
When playing match play, including matches played in the New England Cup, it is required that scores be entered in the handicap system even though the tournament was match play.
If a hole was conceded or not completed, you should enter the score (not to exceed ESC) that you would most likely have gotten for that hole. The score should be posted as a Tournament score.

Look around you. Do you know someone who's a great planner? Numbers person? Writer? Communicator? Please consider nominating them to work with us on crafting the direction of EWGA Boston next year. That's right, it's election time, and we are actively seeking chapter members to volunteer for leadership positions next year. Two Weekend Warm Up clinics are offered Friday nights in July:
- Making Sand a Day at the Beach/ Putting Made Simple will help you get the ball out of a bunker and safely into play as well as help you get the ball in the hole in two putts or less. The clinic will split the time between the two topics and help you lower your scores. Class has been rescheduled to July 15 from 6:30-8:00 PM.
- Our new Playing Lesson with the Pros is an opportunity to play three holes supervised by a pro. You will have the chance to play your own ball and ask any questions. Class will be held on July 29 from 6:30-8:00 PM.
In addition, Getting to the Green in Fewer Shots has been rescheduled for August 5 from 6:30-8:00 PM. This clinic will help you understand the basics of course management.
