Mass Conference for WomenEWGA to Sponsor
Mass Conference for Women

December 9, 2010

EWGA has signed up to be a "Supporting Organization" for three upcoming state conferences by women for women - including the Massachusetts Conference for Women.

This is an opportunity for expanded awareness about EWGA. In return for help in spreading the word about the conferences, EWGA is listed on the invitation that is sent to thousands of women in each of the respective states, on the conference websites, and in the conference programs.

All EWGA Boston members will receive an email notice about the conference. We hope you will be able to attend.

For more information on the amazing list of speakers and programs, visit the Massachusetts Conference for Women website.

Who's the Biggest Loser?

We are halfway through the contest period for the Biggest Loser Handicap Challenge. As of the August 1st handicap index update, the current biggest loser is Willa Belcher, with Claire Bowers, Dee Bouffard, Arlene Franklin, and Fay Moy in a dead heat for second place.

Click here to see complete August 1 standings

The contest will end with the September 15 handicap index update and prizes will be presented at the End of Season event.

Contest note:  There were to be 2 contest categories with a winner in each category. The categories were those with a handicap starting index greater than or equal to 20.0 and those with one less than 20.0. However, as nobody with a handicap index less than 20.0 entered the contest, we will award prizes to first and second place.
