Announcing... The 2010 EWGA Boston Chapter Championship Winners

It was another hot Saturday. On July 17th, 51 Boston Chapter members descended upon Highfields Golf & Country Club ready to do battle. Who emerged victorious? Everyone.
Some played for the fun of it. Some to take home a trophy. Most walked away winners - having won an award, met some new friends, or spent the day with some old friends.
 The woman who won it all - and walked away as overall champion was..
Judy battled the heat and came out ahead of the pack with an overall low net score of 67! Way to go Judy!
Judy advances to the 2010 EWGA Championship semi-finals at Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley, MA on August 21. Joining her are the nine 1st place winners and 1st place scramble team.

To all who contributed to this mammoth project - thank you! Your assistance - in ways large or small - were a tremendous help to me personally and contributed to the success of one of our marquee events for the season.
In addition to the many Chapter members who provided support, I want to give a special shout-out to:
- Our friends at Joe & Leigh's Discount Golf Pro Shop who donated the prize for our Chapter Champion: a foursome at Pine Oaks Golf Course. All award winners were happy to receive Joe & Leigh's gift cards in addition to their trophies.
- Stephanie Jennings, EWGA Director of Golf Programs, and Karla Harding of the EWGA Northern Colorado Chapter - who patiently answered my questions and guided me through the Championship process.
