Action Alert! Protect NIH Funding for Medical Research

Greetings!
The National Institute of Health (NIH) is the nation's leading medical research agency--supporting scientific studies that turn discovery into health.  Patients with SADS conditions have benefited from the research produced by the NIH from advancements in pacemakers and defibrillators to pharmacological studies.

Right now, the budget for funding medical research is being threatened with cuts scheduled to take effect in January 2013.  We need to act quickly to let our policymakers know this is not an option, that preserving funding for medical research at the NIH is essential not just to the lives of patients with SADS conditions, but to all citizens.
