Thanksgiving is National Family History Day
Family ThanksgivingThis Thanksgiving, why not share more than just the turkey and pumpkin pie?  The Surgeon General has declared Thanksgiving as National Family History Day; recognizing the importance of knowing and recording your families medical history. The SADS Foundation has put together a kit to help you this Thanksgiving.

Print the materials from the pedigree kit and take them with you to family parties and gatherings this holiday season.
  • A getting started guide for you to write down the names of your relatives and answer 4 simple questions about each person
  • A short one page questionnaire to give to each relative (or ask them the questions)
  • A pedigree chart for those who want to draw their pedigree

Knowing your family history is not only important, but WILL SAVE LIVES!

If you have any questions or would like assistance with gathering your family history, please contact Joanne Robinson or call 800-786-7723.
