There are times to show up. The Lord has issued an invitation and an opportunity to us. Let's join millions of believers from almost every nation on earth in prayer on Sunday, May 27, for the Global Day of Prayer.
We want to give feet to our prayers by bringing canned goods on May 27. We will donate our canned goods to Cypress Assistance Ministries to help those in need.
Leading up to the Global Day of Prayer, we will enter into ten days of focused, united prayer. Click here for the prayer guide and resources on our website.

House of Prayer for All Nations
Scripture teaches us that God's house is to be known as a house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:7). When Jesus quoted this passage, his disciples recognized the passion which burned in the Lord's heart for this vision. On the Global Day of Prayer, we get a taste of what a worldwide house of prayer looks like.
There is much to pray about. The problems we face are bigger than us. But, they are not beyond the power of God. This is our chance to turn to God together.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
In the book of Acts, believers gathered "with one accord in one place." On the Global Day of Prayer, you and I will participate in the largest prayer meeting in history. We will gather in one accord in many places.

Be sure to get your Ten-Day Prayer Guide, which helps focus and coordinate our prayers in anticipation of the Global Day of Prayer.
The ten days of prayer are May 17 - 26.
Also, consider advocating for this day of prayer. Ask ten other people to meet you at Calvary Community Church on May 27, so that we can fill the place with the prayers of God's people.
May the cry of prayer unto God be louder than the cry of sin in our nation and world in this season.
