Dear ;
 Dawn
Email - Can't live with it, Can't live without it!
It has come to my attention that although my Outlook tells me it's sending out my emails and they appear in the Sent folder, people aren't getting them.

If, you have sent me an email in the last month or so and I haven't answered, it's probably because I did answer, it just never reached you. We're still trying to figure out what's going on. At least I have discovered it and as long as I email from the web you should get my answers. Unfortunately, this also included my invoices.

With that said, if I've seen you in the last month and you haven't received an invoice, or you've emailed me and never gotten a reply, please try again and I promise I will get back to you.

Thanks
2010 QuickBooks Classes
April - Quarterly Payroll Reports

Most people just don't have the time to attend a class especially this time of year.  So, how about staying in your office and attend a 90 minute webinar in the comfort of your office?

Each month we're going to offer a different topic. The number of attendee's will be limited to 15 so that everyone gets a chance to ask questions. The cost will be $49.00/person

Because of the popularity of the classes so far, we're adding a second class each month. They will be the 1st Monday (3:00-4:30 PM) & 3rd Thursday (9:00-10:30 PM) of every month. Having 2 time slots should ensure everyone who want to attend will be able to.

To register:
A separate email invitation with detailed information about this months class will be sent at the beginning of each month to everyone receiving this newsletter and you can register online. Or, simply email us your request for registration with REGISTRATION as the subject line.

BOGUS Email From Intuit

A Bogus email has been circulating from Intuit Small Business (update@intuit.com) about needing to download a Digital Certificate in order to continue using QuickBooks after 30 Mar 2010.   It sounds quite official. What made me question it was the way the date was written.
This is a Bogus email. DO NOT DO IT! As a note - whenever you receive an email that looks questionable, always check it out before following the instructions.
Intuit responded that they would never send out an email asking for your password or user ID or asking you to download a utility tool. When in doubt - DON'T! Here's some sound advice to always follow regarding emails.

You can get more security information and recommendations on securing your computer at  Intuit Security Check  (http://security.intuit.com).

If you think you've provided a fraudulent Web site with personal information, such as your login name and password, or if you have recently downloaded anything contained in a suspicious e-mail, here's what you should do:

·Delete any tool you may have downloaded.

.Scan your system using an anti-virus program

·Change your password to prevent unauthorized users from logging into your account.

Oregon OTTER
If you process your own payroll (regardless of what program you use) you will need to download a new 2010 OTTER program for your Oregon OQ Reports.

As of today they are having problems with the download and it's not available. Keep watching for an email telling you when it will be ready. Then go click here OTTERto download the file.

Once you install the 2010 program, it will convert your 2009 information so you shouldn't have to re-enter your employee's.
