ASL HIGH HOLY DAYS UPDATE

The Google checkout feature for payment of tickets for the ASL High Holy Days services has been fixed.  For those of you who have registered, thank you.  If you have not yet registered, click here to register now.  The ASL High Holy Days Planning Committee needs to have a final count for seating purposes, publication of program booklets, and most important of all, food.

The Registration Committee emailed tickets to all those who registered.  If you registered and did not receive a ticket, email Terry Bittker, Registration Committee chair.

WSJD is following a communal food sharing tradition for Yom Kippur Break Fast.  If you are interested in contributing your share of the food, email Marcie Buxbaum, Food Committee chair, for information on what to contribute.

Voice interpreters and close vision interpreters will be available.

PARSHA KI TAVO

(When you enter...)

A. George Schroeder continues his Parsha writing tradition. To see his Ki Tavo parsha, click here

B. Joshua Soudakoff teaches parshas fully in ASL. In honor of this week's parsha, Jewish Deaf Multimedia has released a video parsha on Ki Tavo.  Click here to watch the video .

This week's parsha explains the idea that our personal happiness and satisfaction depends on the way we view life.  In other words, it is "all about the perspective."

Jewish Deaf Multimedia also released a Blog Post.   The newest entry to the blog, appropriately entitled "It's All About the Perspective", invites you to weigh in your opinion on a question.

What's the question?  What importance do you place on having a Jewish education?
