Greetings!

Student Financial Services will typically send you short messages like this when we have information to get out quickly.

1098T (Tuition Statement for Tax Benefits for Education)
What is a 1098T anyway? Are you wondering what "Tax Benefits for Education" are? Do you need to give us your social security number so you can claim benefits? Please go to our web page for info and assistance.

TAX INFO

The deadline for schools sending 1098T's is January 31st. If you want to get your 1098T faster, you may want to indicate via your "Student Service Center" that you want to access your 1098T online. Making this selection will give you 24-hour access to a pdf of your tax form as soon as it is ready. From there it can be easily printed, emailed or saved. Please be aware that if you "Grant Consent" a printed copy will no longer be mailed to you. If you like to file your taxes quickly, have moved or are concerned about mail safely reaching you, we strongly recommend this option. Access via MyGFU>Student Center>Account Inquiry>Account Services tab, then choose "Grant Consent".
