Adonte Gerryl Young, DOB: 03/22/1986, has turned himself in to authorities at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office. He faces charges of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy in connection with the armed robbery of the PNC Bank committed on April 13, 2012.  The bank is located at 1000 East Boulevard. 

Excellent police work by Providence Division patrol officers and Robbery Unit Detectives played a large role in making this arrest possible, along with the assistance of the FBI.  The second suspect remains on the loose and the case remains under active investigation.
