"Summer Connections" Back This Year!

Summer is right around the corner, and that means summer jobs for kids, and moms and dads who need help. 

If you want to offer your services (babysitting, pet sitting, house sitting, lawn work...you know the drill!), or if you are in need of such services, reply to this email with your "ad" copy for inclusion in the June Dilworth Quarterly's "Summer Connections". Include your name, contact info, service offered or needed, availability and pricing. Deadline is April 23.

Dilworth Express Gets 2000th Subscriber

Cheryl Smith became the 2000th person to sign up to receive the weekly Dilworth Express. Who is she? Not a Dilworthian yet, but hoping to become one! She writes....

"We are moving into the Old Polo Club on New Hope Road in early May (we are not even in Charlotte yet, I am trying to find networks before we get there!)  We are renting while we look for a home to buy in the area.  We are moving into Charlotte from Davidson, where we have been for the last year, although we are currently taking a 2 month hiatus from the real world to travel and enjoy some extra family time.  We moved to NC from Boston and are excited about moving into Charlotte and getting back into a more Urban setting.  We have 2 children: Garrett (2) and Sophia (4).  I signed up for the email in hopes of connecting with other families in the area and forming a community in Dilworth."

Register your child here for a five day summer camp at The Art Room (in August) and receive a FREE date night---or register for any of our other camps (in June or July) and receive half off a date night!  In the camp registration form's message box include the code "Dilworth Express". The Art Room is a studio for children ages 2+. We are located in the Dilworth neighborhood, and we offer themed camps including "Art History", "Sculpture", and "Mixed Media"!
