Crime Alert From Officer Gilliland...
Yesterday (2/1) at 4:30 pm, there was a strong-arm Robbery at 611 Templeton Ave. Victim was at the business to pay her rent when two black male suspects, both between 16-20 years old, forcibly took her money/credit cards. One suspect was wearing a distinct rust-colored plaid jacket with gold stripes and a hood. If you have any information, please call 911.
Also....between the 18th and 20th of January, a total of 6 bicycles have been reported stolen from the secured parking area at the ground floor of 1829/1903 Kenilworth, which share a driveway. Since this is a secured area for both pedestrians and vehicles, any entry and subsequent theft is going to be considered a Breaking and Entering.
To date, two suspects have been developed in these cases: Oliver has been arrested and charged. Higgins is still wanted. If you see him please call 911. He has been known to loiter in the East Blvd area.
