East Blvd. Update
Thursday, 11/10 CDOT retimed the signals at Kenilworth and Scott. The good news? There was an immediate, dramatic improvement in East Blvd. traffic flow during lunch and peak traffic hours.  CDOT still has final pavement markings to be put down.
Morehead St. Project to be Discussed
Land Use Committtee Mtg. this Wednesday, 11/30 7PM at Tom Sykes Rec Center.

Proposed development on the north side of Morehead, east of Kenilworth will be discussed, with a presentation from the developer expected.

DCDA has long requested a zoning classification for Morehead which will respect the existing tree canopy and restrict height relative to single family homes.

The apartment complex proposal for this location originally requested MUDD rezoning, (allowing 120-ft heights close up to Morehead St. and to adjacent neighbors). Please attend for updates on this and future Morehead St. development. For more information, contact
John Fryday.
Dilworth Ladies Holiday Party
8 days and counting until next Thursday, 12/6 Dilworth Ladies Holiday Party....if you haven't yet Rsvp'd, the deadline is this Friday. Rsvp now so your check-in will go quickly and you can breeze through to the bar and buffet!

Before you arrive, plot your silent auction strategy by previewing the pictures and descriptions of the 40 silent auction items. New items added last week include gift certificates for Anna's Alterations, Charlotte Yarn, and Bead Me by Linda Minor. 100% of proceeds to Friendship Trays.
Vote on New Board Next Week
The DCDA Annual Membership Meeting is next Wednesday, December 7, 7PM, at the Tom Sykes Center. The neighborhood will be voting on the 2012 Board Officers, and the nominees for the Board Class of 2014. Please plan on attending to let your vote be heard.
