It's a busy week, and a busy month in Dilworth! (and the Jubilee is only 11 days away!) Please see the calendar items to the left and click on them for details, locations, and contact information.

Sculpture Competition Launched
The competion has officially begun! The Dilworth Art Project Steering Committee emailed a Call to Artists to over 1500 artisans and press contacts in the Carolinas last week soliciting entries for The Founding Project.
Is there a deadline for donations? The committee hopes to have the entire $30,000 in hand by Halloween.
Will donors be recognized?
The committee announced this week that those donating $1000 or more will receive permanent recognition on a plaque at or near the sculpture. Donors of any amount by Halloween will be acknowledged in the December Dilworth Quarterly.
How much has been raised to date? Generous Dilworth families have donated over $15,000.
What is the time frame? Entries are due by year-end and installation for the fall of 2012. For a complete timeline and description of the selection process, see the Call to Artists.
How do I donate? Checks made out to Dilworth Art can be mailed to: DCDA, PO Box 36023, Charlotte 28236-6023. This pledge card details donor categories. You can also pay via PayPal
