Greetings!

 

One evening there was a silhouette in the twilight on the edge of the roof of our Tasting Room. A great horned owl!! We looked at each other for a while, then he gracefully took off and flew into the darkness of the night. 
Sunset Tasting

As mentioned in the print Spring Newsletter, we'll hold the Sunset Tasting on Saturday evening starting on June 23rd (a week from the LOWT June event) through Labor Day weekend. We'll extend our Tasting Room hours until sunset, weather permitting, for you to come enjoy the wine tasting later in the day. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs, etc. to watch the sunset with us. Further planning is underway so stay tuned.

Help Wanted
 

Interested in knowing more about wine and wine making process? Join our team in the Tasting Room or give us a hand at bottling in summer! We are looking for a few part time helpers this season. For details, contact Fumie via phone, email or in person!

Cinco de Vino
May 5th & 6th
10am-5pm

Visit each of the Lake Ontario wineries for a unique Sangria and Salsa. Each winery will feature a wine in a Sangria recipe and a Salsa pairing. Here at Thorpe we'll be serving "White Sangria" made with our Cayuga White and Wayne County Peach & Apple salsas.

Tickets are $10 each or 2/$15. Tickets can be purchased online in advance or at your starting winery. Cash only at the door please. This is a self guided tour. You get to choose where to start and end!
