In August, SHUMLA Assistant Deputy Executive Director Jeanette Pauer will leave Texas to follow her family to an amazing opportunity in California. Pauer's husband, a pilot stationed in Del Rio, will assume the role of Deputy Director of NASA's Supersonic Division. Pauer will be missed for her tireless work on behalf of SHUMLA and the energy that she brought to all of her projects.
Staff and board will miss Assistant Deputy Executive Director Jeanette Pauer for her great teaching and her enthusiasm for all things SHUMLA.
Pauer's departure has created an opening for a Community Relations Coordinator. "SHUMLA is looking for an energetic individual who can help with community-related projects including event planning, marketing and external communications," stated Deputy Executive Director Andrew Freeman.
