Integrative Mindfulness Header
September, 2012
Greetings!

Our new home for Integrative Mindfulness is perfect, and I can't wait for you to visit. Mindfulness classes are off to a great start, and the silence, space, and natural light are such a welcome experience.

I'm enjoying teaching a new class called Mindfulness Works to the management team at The Brooks Commons Club. This great group of people is learning mindfulness skills and practices for optimizing performance, collaboration, and  leadership at work and in life. This program is based on training developed at Google for its employees called  Search Inside Yourself,  as well as a book of the same name authored by Chade-Meng Tan (Google's "Jolly Good Fellow".) Mindfulness continues to be on the cutting edge of programs and training for wellness, personal growth, leadership, and occupational health. Here's a recent article you may enjoy.

A new 4-week series of Introductory Mindfulness Training & Life Coaching will begin Wednesday evenings in October. Register for Mindful New Beginnings Here.

Finally, September 12 is Mindfulness Day. Be present for your moments today, (and everyday)! Here's a link with more information.

Be sure you have the new class schedule (included in this newsletter), address, and phone number so we stay connected!

Autumn Weekend Retreat
A Restful Inward Journey for Women
Oct. 26-28, Alva FL

We are a manic 24/7 society, constantly in the "doing" mode, with very little time for "being". Are you like most women I know, having 100 things to do and usually exhausted? A retreat is an opportunity to "fill ourselves up" again - to return to our essence, rest the body and mind, and remember who we really are. This retreat offers a nurturing, comforting and safe experience for you to explore and recoup your wholeness, authenticity, spirituality, sense of connection, and creative expression of self. Enjoy gourmet vegetarian meals, gentle guided yoga, mindfulness meditation, personal discovery experiences, lovely accommodations, and an optional massage, right here in Southwest Florida. Now, you can't beat that! Co-created by Integrative Mindfulness and Shift and Wake Up. Imagine what a weekend like this could do for you? Don't miss it!
