to Practice "Informal Mindfulness"

There's no substitute for regular, formal mindfulness practice. But how does a formal practice carry over into your daily life? One way to become more, and more "present" throughout your day is remembering to practice informally - while cooking, doing household chores, talking, driving. Informal practice is an important aspect of maintaining the continuity of mindfulness. Reminding yourself frequently to stop what you're doing, taking an intentional pause, and observing (the breath, bodily sensations, thoughts, feelings, and environmental information) brings you back to the present moment (the only moment we actually live). Here's a handy product that can help you do just that:Stress Release Reminders.
