The next cycle of the eight-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course (MBSR) will begin in Bonita Springs the week of October 10th and run through December 5th. Morning and evening classes available.

Madeline Ebelini, MATP, RYT will give several free informational talks in September in Bonita Springs and Fort Myers on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an educational program in which participants learn simple meditation techniques, gentle yoga, walking meditation, and other mindfulness practices.  Read more & register for a talk.

This free twelve-week group will meet online, via teleconference, and periodically in person, to discuss and experience the practices & activities outlined in Marianne Williamson's A Course in Weight Loss: 21 Spiritual Lessons for Surrendering Your Weight Forever, and Sasha Loring's Eating with Fierce Kindness: A Mindful and Compassionate Guide to Losing Weight. This three hour experiential workshop, led by artist Pam Malafronte, M.Ed., of  Lotus-Heart Workshops, and Madeline Ebelini, M.A., RYT, of Integrative Mindfulness, will give participants the opportunity and guidance to connect with the creative and intuitive mind by engaging in practices of guided meditation, gentle movement, and therapeutic art.  Attune to the subtle energies of your mind and body which find expression through symbol, shape, pattern, and color.

Madeline Ebelini will offer a free Viniyoga Class at the Lee County Alliance of the Arts on Saturday, September 17th at 8:00 AM. (Please bring your own yoga mat). This class is part of Living MindFULLY week. Click here for more information.  Integrative Mindfulness student, and much loved yoga teacher, Rosemary Uzzi will offer a four week Multi-Level Vinyasa class at the Bonita Springs Recreation Center on Wednesdays at 9:30 beginning September 21st. Debbie received her training at Duke Integrative Medicine's intensive Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program where she is currently completing the final phase of her certification.  She brings to her health coaching practice 30 years of professional and personal experience as a hospital and home care nurse, researcher, college professor, public health professional and health care administrator in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, Debbie is also a mindfulness practitioner! Class options will be an evening class on Mondays (6-8:30 PM) or a morning class on Tuesdays (9:30 AM - 12). Tuition for the course is $450, but those registering at one of the Free MBSR Talks this month will receive a $50 discount.  If you've been considering MBSR, this course will teach you time tested life-changing tools for creating and sustaining your own personal mindfulness practice - a proven method for reducing stress and improving health and wellness.  Classes are held at The Brooks Executive Suites, 9990 Coconut Rd., Bonita Springs. Students in both classes will participate in an all day retreat to be held on Sunday, November 20th at Six Mile Cypress Preserve. Retreatants will practice mindfulness skills they've learned over the past six weeks in the Preserve's new interpretive center, and amid the cypress slough wildlife and wetland flora, such as yoga on the deck, walking meditation among the boardwalks, and sitting meditation, as well as a mindful lunch, and periods of reflective silence.
