Secret Snippet:
~Anthesis~ A Cappella of Love

~Proclamation~

Where will the sun rise

on this the first day of our love?

It shall arise in the East

atop the mighty mountain citadels...

When will the sun rise

on this the first day of our love?

It shall be at dawn

when clouds caress

the globe of warmth...

What will the sun rise herald

on this the first day of our love?

It shall announce the birth

of our union's triumphant sojourn...

A declaration from one heart to another

Quintessential truth prolifically declared...

Sunrise to sunset with twilight swathed between

Silhouetted against the light I do proclaim

To take thy heart's pure coffer and thy name

(the end...)

to scorch and soothe..."

Personal Note:

"My name...is derived from my nanny (grandmother) who...when born on Easter Sunday, was born without a heartbeat ~ and it was said that her father, my great grandfather had a little bouquet of pansy flowers in his hands. He had brought them for her birth and thus laid them atop her chest, in grief. The moment the flowers touched her...she gasped for air and began to wail.

That very moment the name Pansy was given. Along with that name, my father added the name Lee to create my name.

Lee meaning shelter in the storm."

Literature Ponder Point:

Shakespeare

In Shakespeare's time, theaters had no curtain and used little or no scenery.

Playwrights described the setting within the text of the performance.

Elizabethan theatergoers could purchase apples and pears to eat during the show.

These snacks were often thrown at the actors by dissatisfied members of the audience.

Book Quotes:

"Emma Woodhouse, handsome, clever, and rich, with a comfortable home and happy disposition, seemed to unite some of the best blessings of existence; and had lived nearly twenty-one years in the world with very little to distress or vex her."
