End of Season Round-Up, Pinkberry Fundraiser! - Fairfield American Little League

As our fall season comes to an end, we hope all the players had a great experience. Thanks to our volunteer coaches/managers, with a special "thanks" to Jamie Benton, our fall ball commissioner!

Speaking of the end of the season, we have our pre-winter Mill Hill clean-up scheduled for Saturday, November 12th at 8:00 am. If you are interested in helping, please email Jamie Benton.

Lastly, at our most recent monthly league meeting (held the first Monday of every month at 7:30 pm in the team room at Roger Ludlowe Middle School; all are welcome and encouraged to participate; next meeting is November 7th), we elected the 2012 Board of Directors. Thanks to John Sohigian for accepting the position of President and a heartfelt and huge "thank you" to outgoing President Dave Pierpont for his dedication to the league and his leadership on the "Make Gould Great!" project!

Pinkberry End of Fall Season Fundraiser TOMORROW - Thursday, 10/27 (4-7 pm)

There's no better way to celebrate the end of baseball for 2011 than with some swirly goodness from Pinkberry, the official sponsor of our fall Cappy league. Even better, this great partner has agreed to donate 20% of all qualified sales Thursday, 10/27 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

For a purchase to count towards this fundraiser, please either have your child wear his/her FALL jersey or please download the flyer below and bring it to Pinkberry (1512 Post Road) between 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm THURSDAY, 10/27!

Sports Image Presents Sponsor Check To Fairfield American!

Fairfield American Little League (FALL) is the proud recipient of a $19,905 sponsor check, courtesy of Sports Image®. Katie Klein, owner of Sports Image® Fairfield County presented the check last week to Dave Pierpont, outgoing President of FALL at Gould Manor Park. These sponsorship funds will be applied to the cost of the renovation of the fields at Gould Manor as FALL looks to improve the playing experience for their 900 participants.

"Katie's energy and entrepreneurial spirit were key factors in 2011 being the most successful sponsorship/fundraising year in the history of Fairfield American Little League. Katie is genuinely interested in assisting non-profit youth sports organizations while also delivering great value and exposure on behalf of her sponsors," said Dave Pierpont.

Gould Manor Renovation Continues!

Grass is down in the outfield on one of the Gould Manor fields! Work continues as we race against the (winter) clock to make the necessary progress before the weather changes.

We'll keep everyone posted as we continue to "Make Gould Great!" in time for the 2012 spring season!
