Fall Registration: LAST DAY!! - Fairfield American Little League

Registration for fall baseball remains open through the end of today, 9/2. We welcome all players aged 7-14 to participate and we look forward to yet another great season of fun for the kids!

Our registration site can be accessed by clicking here or on the "Fall Registration Link" in the "Quick Links" section of this newsletter. Registration will be $125 for all players aged 7-12 and $150 for our Junior League players (ages 13-14).

We'll be putting together the teams this week with play starting the weekend of 9/10.

We've received a number of emails asking about schedules, which are currently being developed. We apologize for the delay, but we're working around the impact of the Gould Manor project (see below). As soon as league schedule information is available, we'll put it on the website.

We've also been asked about Junior League, our offering for 13-14 year old players. Junior League is Little League International's extension onto the full-size field. We'll form as many teams as possible (based on registration) and our teams will play against other Junior League teams from within our District. There are no tryouts and all players will be placed on a team.

Town of Fairfield to Honor State Champions

The Town of Fairfield has announced that it will honor our Little League champions during a ceremony next Wednesday (9/7) at 4:30 pm in the First Floor Conference Romm in Independence Hall, 725 Post Road.

The Board of Selectman will issue certificates of congratulations to each team member, their managers and coaches at this special recognition ceremony.

Among those honored will be Fairfield American's 12 year old and 11 year old state championship teams, along with Fairfield's 12 year old softball team, which won the New England regional championship.

Gould Manor Update!

Construction has begun at Gould Manor, which is very exciting for all players in our league. The goal is to complete these renovations in time for the spring season.

We'll continue to update you within our newsletter and on our website as we work together to "Make Gould Great!"
