Fall Registration Continues
FALL Logo

Registration for fall baseball remains open through 8/26.  We welcome all players aged 7-14 to participate and we look forward to yet another great season of fun for the kids!

Our registration site can be accessed by clicking here or on the "Fall Registration Link" in the "Quick Links" section of this newsletter.  Registration will be $125 for all players aged 7-12 and $150 for our Junior League players (ages 13-14).

We'll be putting together the teams towards the end of August with play starting just after Labor Day.

We've received a number of emails asking about schedules, which are currently being developed.  We apologize for the delay, but we're working around the impact of the Gould Manor project (see below).  As soon as league schedule information is available, we'll put it on the website.

We've also been asked about Junior League, our offering for 13-14 year old players.  Junior League is Little League International's extension onto the full-size field.  We'll form as many teams as possible (based on registration) and our teams will play against other Junior League teams from within our District.  There are no tryouts and all players will be placed on a team.

If you have any further questions regarding fall baseball, please contact fairfieldamerican@gmail.com.

William Raveis Mortgage - Special Offer for Fairfield American Families
Raveis Mortgage

Jorge Rivera from William Raveis Mortgage is a tremendous supporter of Fairfield American Little League and would like to offer a complete rebate of appraisal fees to any family that contacts him regarding their mortgage needs.  Rates are at historically low levels right now, so please get in touch with Jorge to see if he can be of service.

Jorge can be reached via email or phone at 203.913.1633.  His personal website can be found here.

"Make Gould Great!" Is A Go!
Gould Manor
Next week, we will officially start work to reposition and upgrade the two fields at Gould Manor Park.  A special "thanks" to our sponsors, the families that have participated in our fund-raising events, our Board of Directors and especially our President, Dave Pierpont.  This project would not have moved forward without this tremendous group effort!

Due to the construction plan, we will not be able to use these fields during our upcoming fall season.  We're in the process of finalizing schedules reflecting this change.

If you're interested in helping defray some of the costs of this project, please read below.

Here's a great way for families (and especially young players who will get to play on the new fields at Gould for years to come) to participate in this exciting initiative.  We've partnered with FirstGiving to set-up an online donation page for the "Make Gould Great!" project.

Click on the FirstGiving image to enter the fundraising site.  No donation is too small, so if our players would like to feel connected to this project, they can run lemonade stands, email grandparents or other extended family members, post on facebook, etc.  Again, every dollar collected will go towards facility improvements, so let's work together to continue to make Fairfield American a great league for all our players and families!
