Getting Ready
Finally, it's that time of year! Majors and AAA have started their seasons, with AA getting going this coming week. Senior Cappy, Junior Cappy, T-Ball and Future Stars are all slated to begin at the end of April or the first day of May.

For families with younger players (Future Stars through Senior Cappy), if you haven't yet heard from your team manager, no worries.  You should be contacted within the next week with details regarding team placement, rosters and schedules.  With over 900 children registered for the spring season, you can imagine that it has taken a little bit of time and energy to place all players on their respective teams, so we certainly appreciate your patience as we get ready to "Play Ball!".

In the meantime, if you have immediate questions, feel free to contact the appropriate league commissioner:

Senior Cappy:  Ken Ross

Junior Cappy:  Chuck Wilkerson

T-Ball:  Eric Scholl

Future Stars:  Brian Grady

On a separate note, there's lots of great information in this edition of our newsletter, so be sure to scroll through top to bottom!  Also, check out the offers from our sponsors and remember, please support the local businesses to the left that have gone above and beyond to financially partner with our league...

Opening Day Festivities
Ready to Play!On Sunday, May 1 at 11:00 am at Mill Hill Field, Fairfield American Little League will celebrate Opening Day for the spring season.  We encourage all players to come down to the field (in uniform) so that we can introduce each team to the crowd.  In addition, we'll have a few special guests while we honor our volunteers, thank our sponsors and relive the accomplishments of our 2010 summer teams.

It's truly a great time for all involved and a wonderful way to "officially" kick off the season!  Hope to see you all there...

Last Call for Pants/Helmet Pick-Up
Baseball PantsIf you haven't yet picked-up baseball pants for your child, please swing by Mill Hill Field this Saturday, April 16 between 8:00 am - 10:00 am.  Also, if you purchased a helmet during registration and didn't receive it during evaluations, please come down to Mill Hill Field on this same date/time.

While you're there, why not purchase a few Mets tickets?
