As someone that has indicated a desire to coach baseball this spring in Fairfield American Little League, we wanted to make you aware of three coaching clinics that we've just scheduled.  Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) has partnered with our organization to provide this training to our coaches at all age levels.

 

We're offering a workshop entitled "Coaching for Winning and Life Lessons" on three separate dates over the next two weeks.  The dates, times and locations are as follows:

 

Tuesday, 3/22 at 7:30 pm - Osborn Hill Elementary School

LAST CHANCE!!  Talking Baseball with Karl Ravech - March 18 at 6:00 pm - Community Theatre
Karl Ravech

Karl Ravech, host of the Emmy-award winning Baseball Tonight, will be the Master of Ceremonies for an upcoming Fairfield American Little League fundraiser at the Community Theater on Friday, March 18 at 6:00 PM.  Mr. Ravech has been with ESPN since 1993 and has hosted Baseball Tonight since 1995.  He has first-hand experience with Fairfield American, broadcasting their 2010 LL World Series run.

 

The evening will be highlighted by an interactive hot-stove discussion with Mr. Ravech, featuring a silent auction/raffle and will be capped with the showing of Field of Dreams on the big screen.  Food and beverages will be available throughout the night.  Admission for adults is $25 and $10 for kids (14 and under). 

 

Registration is FILLING QUICKLY and will be capped at 300 participants, so don't delay!

Proceeds from the event will go to our "Make Gould Great!" refurbishment fund for Gould Manor Park baseball fields.

 

Note: No 'hard' tickets will be issued; names will be on a list at the door.  Admission at the door will be $30 for adults and $15 for kids (14 and under).  No credit cards will be accepted for admission, raffle tickets or silent auction items that evening - cash or check only.
