Several Mill City Commons members have surfaced Tech businesses they used after Digital with Andy closed. One of the businesses is Network Guidance 2.0. I have spoken to the Founder, Dan Grady and was impressed with his level of professionalism. Dan agreed to offer us some very competitive pricing. Dan will let me know when they are set up to offer Mill City Commons a discount. Check out their website through this link. Please let me know about your experiences with both Network Guidance 2.0 (once they are set up) and Call That Girl (the business Andy recommended). Thanks! -- Linnea

A note from Patti Ries, Mill City Commons
Program Coordinator
Did You Know?
Lifelong learning contributes to cognitive health and psychosocial well-being. In his 2005 book, The Mature Mind: The Positive Power of the Aging Brain, author Gene Cohen states that challenging mental and physical activities are found to stimulate neuron growth in the brain. Through lifelong learning, physical changes occur in the brain as neurons connect in new ways, contributing to cognitive wellness. Findings from a qualitative study of older adults in community education programs in Toronto correlate lifelong learning with an improved sense of mastery, purpose, self-esteem, and deepened social and relational bonds. Click here to read more about this study (Narushima, 2007).
