A note from Patti Ries, Mill City Commons
Program Coordinator
Did You Know?
"Move Naturally" is Lesson One from The Blue Zone: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who've Lived the Longest. Author Dan Buettner's advice is to "be active without having to think about it." Moderate levels of regular, low-intensity exercise as a way of life will contribute to health and well-being. A combination of activities such as walking, gardening, or yoga for at least 30 minutes a day, five times a week is recommended by Buettner. Join with your friends and do what you enjoy! For more information on the health benefits of exercise from the National Institutes of Health, click here
